Greetings in the name of our Savior Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit! NAFAUM is delighted to launch its first quarterly digital newsletter, NAFAUM Connections. This summer edition shares a heartfelt devotion and an article on Filipino-American United Methodists who attended the School of Congregational Development and are very inspired to bring new fresh expressions of intentional discipleship. You will find updated plans for the 2024 USA Christmas Institute sessions, and news on upcoming NAFAUM PAGLAGO activities and United Methodist Church mission opportunities.

At this same time, NAFAUM has updated its website, which we hope that you will venture to. We feature Filipino-American church workers and their ministries and the arrival of Filipino clergy and deaconesses to the United States on their journey of migration to meet the growing needs of local church ministries in various annual conferences. We will share about GBGM’s Asian American Language Ministries and the National Federation of Asian American United Methodists (NFAAUM) where NAFAUM is represented. We will post on Filipino American youth and young adults of mixed cultural heritage and their journeys in the United States. When we learn of educational and leadership training opportunities as well as available career positions, we will update our NAFAUM communications modes frequently.

NAFAUM is updating its 2024-2025 Directory through a Google document. Please the link on the home page to include or edit your information.

The 2025 NAFAUM Convocation will be held in the Pacific-Northwest annual conference. A venue is being sought in the Seattle area for 3 days between July 12 to 19, 2025. The 18th Youth/Young Adult Summit will take place simultaneously at the same site. More details to follow. Meanwhile, please pencil this networking mission event in your calendars.
